简介：Draft tube is an important component of hydraulic turbines. Being installed downstream of runners (propellers), it impacts the pressure recovery and the overall efficiency of turbines. Flow inside typical draft tubes features highly complex 3D flow, dominated by multiple vortices, swirl, and often flow separation, and has been subjected to numerous computational studies.
