DEM Solutions is pleased to announce that EDEM 1.3.1 is now available for download. This latest release includes 3 key areas of enhancement:

• Upgraded and integrated bonded particle contact model which combines a standard Hertz-Mindlin contact model with load-limited particle bonding.
• Extended API, enabling definition of user-defined particle attributes for use in custom particle-particle, particle-geometry and particle-body force models.
• Floating processor keys for parallel processing. The number of processors available for an EDEM simulation is distributed across clients offering more flexibility.
